Terms of service

These terms cover any job you buy from Rowcount, whether through the Stripe buttons on the site or by email quote. Paying, or telling us to start work, means you accept them.

Who you're dealing with

Rowcount is a trading name. The business behind it is the sole trader operating Rowcount, based in Western Australia. An ABN is available on request and shown on every invoice.

What we do

Spreadsheet and CSV clean-up, PDF to spreadsheet extraction, small Python scripts, and automation builds for a recurring task. Each package on the site states its own scope and price.

We don't do legal, immigration or medical work, academic assignments, scraping of sites that forbid it, or anything involving credentials or payment data. If a job needs one of these, we'll say so and decline.

Quotes and payment

For a Basic job, pay through the Stripe button and send your file. For anything bigger, email a description and a sample first. You get a fixed quote and a delivery date within one business day. Payment is by card, processed by Stripe. Rowcount never sees your card details. Work starts once payment clears.

Delivery

Typical delivery is 2 to 5 business days from payment, depending on the package and the size of the job. Your quote or order confirmation states the actual date.

Revisions

Each package includes 1 to 3 rounds of revisions within the scope you were quoted. The listing for your package states the exact number and window, for example 14 or 30 days of fixes on a script or automation build. A revision fixes something that doesn't match the agreed scope. A new request, a bigger file, or a change in what you want the output to do is a scope change, and we'll quote that separately.

Refunds

Covered in full on the refunds page. In short: full refund if nothing is delivered by the promised date plus 3 business days. No refund once you've accepted a deliverable or used up your revisions.

Your data and files

You keep all rights in the data you send us and in the files we deliver back. We keep no copy after deletion and never use your data to train any model of our own. Your files are processed with third-party AI tools to produce the deliverable, as set out in the privacy notice. Files are deleted 14 days after your order closes. By sending us data, you're confirming you have the right to share it with us. That includes data about other people, such as customer or employee records: you need to already have the right to send it before it reaches us.

Ownership

The files, scripts and reports we deliver are yours to use, keep, modify and run as you like. We don't hold any ongoing rights over what we build for you.

Liability

Our liability for any job is capped at the amount you paid for that order, except where the law doesn't allow that cap. This doesn't affect the guarantees below.

Australian Consumer Law

If you're an Australian consumer, the guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law apply to this work and nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Western Australia, Australia.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version posted on this page is the version in force when you place an order.
